Since I took this photo of my kitty, Oliver, I knew it had to go on my
Christmas card. And of course I had to write a fantastic sentiment to go
along with the picture. After adding some ribbon and twine, my 2011
Christmas cards were complete!
I work at a local greenhouse part time, and one of my favorite times of the year to work there is during the holidays. I get to decorate wreaths and swags and put together holiday flower arrangements. These are a few shots from around the greenhouse and a few of the wreaths I put together.
I play in a co-ed hockey league at my gym, and when the league stopped providing t-shirts for us, I decided it was high time we got some super sweet team uniforms of our own. A nod to the Jagermeister logo combined with some hockey sticks and a puck and we were in business. Maybe these will help us win a few more games!
One of my friends was going to a bachelorette party in Las Vegas, and she made up a scavenger hunt for all the girls to do while they were there. To make it a little more fun, she asked me if I could "glam it up" a little.
For my parents 30th anniversary I wanted to make them a special hand-made card. A cute photo of them from my brother's wedding, some scrap-booking paper, and a black micron pen did the trick!
To go along with the pink flower bridal shower invites I did thank you cards. The bride's aunt requested something with a pink pump, but I still wanted them to go with the invites.
Wedding season is just around the corner, and what better way to kick it off than with a super cute, girly bridal shower invite? Pink flowers and a little fancy text? Yes please!
So I may or may not have a slight addiction to Jersey Shore...its a guilty pleasure, don't judge. So when I was asked to design a Jersey Shore themed invitation, I was more than happy to oblige. I sprayed on some fake tanner, tossed on my shirt before the shirt and got to work. Now its just about time for...t-shirt tiiiimmmeee (sorry, I had to).
This is a super cute little tag I'm working on for a prom dress giveaway at my church. The tags will be attached to each dress, so I wanted them to be something special to make the girls feel like the dresses were chosen just for them.
A list of advice that I saw on the How Design Blog today. Its great advice that I will most certainly keep in mind, so I turned it into something I can hang on my wall for inspiration.
This is a quick poster I threw together for a friend's party; inspired by "Mitch-a-palooza" from Old School. Jenna has been "re-released into the wild" : )
Its Valentines Day, and of course no Valentines Day would be complete without some hand-made cards. This is just a little card I made using scrap-booking paper and a brown pen.
To go along with the monogram from my last post, I applied it to a couple of different things to create a whole personalized gift set as a wedding present. I made note cards, wine glasses, wine bottle labels, coasters, and a candle. It was a lot of work, but I had fun with it, and I think I'm going to have to start doing this for more weddings. And now the newlyweds have a great personalized wedding gift that they won't be able to get anywhere else!
